BEATLES

As a high school student during the British music invasion, like most teenagers at that time, I was crazy about the Beatles. I could never choose one individual as my favorite.  I could never choose just one song as my favorite song. I associate their music with riding on the Pep team bus for basketball games and the memories of my senior year in high school.  Imagine a yellow school bus full of teenagers singing, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, led by a kid with shaggy hair and wearing a Nehru jacket.  To me it is not John, Paul, Ringo, and George--it's the BEATLES.

Learning Experience

Looking back over the last 30+ years, I think the day the computer came into my life started a new world for me. In the 1980's, I was teaching Gregg shorthand and keyboarding. One day my county supervisor showed up at my school with 12 IBM computers. That day was the beginning of the greatest learning experience of my life.

I turned the computer on and all I could see was a blinking white dot on a monitor with a black background. From booting up with DOS to using the new interface of Windows 7; from teaching shorthand to teaching Web Design, I am still living my greatest educational learning moment, or should I say life.

Pick Twelve

I liked this game for several reasons. The directions for the game were clearly explained. The scoring was easy to understand. I think this game could be used in a Business Law class, psychology class, civics class and maybe a sociology class.
